LA born DJ Irene has risen from a hard childhood to being an institution in the world of dance music. Quoted as saying âwhen you have music in your heart you just canât get away from it,â she has an extensive discography that proves this statement true. Having been cosigned by nearly every contemporary master of the production of dance music including Paul Oakenfold and so many more, DJ Ireneâs talent and renown is her calling card of excellence worldwide. Having rocked crowds in venues as diverse as LAâs Arena, the Avalon in Boston, Body English in Las Vegas, Crobar in Chicago, and Ruby Skye in San Francisco, this groundbreaking female DJs continues to succeed.

The diva of dance returns with her latest release, the DJ mix Dissonance, combining her remixing and production efforts with those she respects as well as many rising talents in the world of electronic dance music. Named Dissonance because of Ireneâs interest in the classical atonality movements of Stravinsky, Schoenberg and Debussy, the release welcomes DJ Irene back to the bright lights after a brief hiatus. During this period, Irene still maintained a busy touring schedule, and advanced her prodigious skill and talent as a remixer and producer with collegiate education in music theory and composition, as well as a developing mastery of the piano and violin. The 17 track mix on Moist Music features work from the likes of rising Italians Gigi Barocco and Blatta and Inesha, as well as the UKâs Will Bailey, and a plethora of other talents as Irene mixes their fiery breakbeats and funky hard house sound into a mix that continues to define her legacy as one of the best in the industry.

Hello grooveTEK Listeners, Iâve been traveling lot this year and most my travels are work related. Once in awhile, I enjoy getting out from my office which gives me a chance to think out of the fish tank. Iâve been traveling across U.S and Europe for a while and my most recent trip was Las Vegas. I heard from many people that itâs a fantastic place to visit and youâve to visit at least once in your life time. I was in Las Vegas for few days (after 3 days, I was getting home sick) and I enjoyed the hotels with unique themes and the place is huge. It felt like that I was on a cruise ship. The hotels are loaded with so many things and you can do whatever you want. You shall receive if youâve cash in your pocket. Itâs a party city and the people are having enjoyable time. I went to various hotels in evening times to check out party and gambling scenes to get some ideas for the next grooveTEK podcast show. Well, I got my theme for the podcast show and I came out with progressive trance mix. Iâve spent several hours to mix the session and it was very painful process (believe me, you donât want to know about it). Short artist bio:
Since 10 February 1980, Cristian Paduraru grew in ROMANIA, mainly Bucharest. Feeling attracted by melodic dance music since childhood. As a teen Cristian started going to clubs (mainly "Studio Martin"). One of Cristian for projects was "Fire In Water" it included LIVE performances. In the begining of 1996 he was able to buy his first keyboard:) The style of the project was acid-breakbeat.

In 1998 Cristian received 1st place in the "New TALENT Festival" (electronic section) and in 1999 received 1st place in the "Klub Bizzare" contest from Atomic Tv for best house. It's obvious that he has an artistic gift. Praise goes to the One who gave him life and gifts:) His philosophy, in the 90's was that "Music is the best drug," fullfilling the need for excitement. In the new millenium he got in touch with the Word of God and have the philosophy that "LOVE IS THE MESSAGE".

His wife, ERIKA, has brought him fullfillment and balance. After the 90's era of live performances, the new millenium comes with dj performances, and Cristian decided to work mainly in the studio. For a while, between 2000 and 2004 concentrating on advertising and movie sountracks. In 2005 he decided to offer his services worldwide, so he gathered tunes on the actual trends, from Deep Minimal Techno to Electro House and Progressive Breaks! We invite you to experience his mind-blowing dj-friendly music, that inspire the mind and move the heart. He feels GOOD when his tunes are bringing a good feeling to others...

In the early evening time today, I stepped out of my crib to meet some of my friends for the Black/White winter party. Man-O-Man, it's really cold out there. I had to grab a cab quicky to head out to the upper west side of NYC. It took me thirty minutes to reach my destination. Luckily, I had my iPod with me and sampled some tunes from various artists for the next show. There were good tracks got my attention for thirty minutes and the time flew by quickly. BTW, BuddhaBoy and I like to thank all the supportive artists for submitting their tune for grooveTEK podcast show. Now, I'm back at my crib... I'm just going to chill with more groovy tunes....
